History

Raffael and San Giuliano were the boat houses which belonged to Palazzo Spinola. The Palace was built in 1688 by Francesco Paul Raphael Spinola, Grand Prior of Lombardy. It is one of the most beautiful examples of architecture of that period. Francesco Spinola pro nephew, member of The Noble Genovese Family built a church, a vineyard to produce their own wine and boathouses where these restaurants are now situated.
